The Ultimate Ozone Ultraviolet Light Sanitizer. This 36W, 110V UV cleaning lamp allows 99% sterilization and disinfection for rooms up to 525 SF. Great for living-room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom or home office.
What is UV light (Ultraviolet light)? Ultraviolet light is completely invisible to the human eye. To keep it simple, UV light is generally divided into three ranges.
UVC (100-280nm) UVB (280-315nm) UVA (315-400nm)
The only wavelengths proven to be germicidal is UVC (100nm-280nm). Within this range UV light will render microorganisms inactive, including bacteria, mites and spores.
Germicidal Ozone UV Light
Ozone vs Ozone-free
Ozone-Free UVC light is germicidal, however the wavelengths will be blocked if there is interference. This means that a sofa, chair, table, bed, or anything in the room will block the wavelengths as they are incapable of moving around objects.
An Ozone UV Germicidal Lamp 185nm generates ozone which will fill the room to disinfect areas that a UV germicidal light alone cannot reach.

How does UV light work? UVC is short wavelengths with high energy. When the light is absorbed into the RNA/DNA, it damages the nucleic acids, rendering microorganisms incapable of infecting or reproducing.
Using germicidal UV light that generates ozone provides an extra layer of security when cleaning and disinfecting your home or office.
UVC is also proven effective against waterborne pathogenic microorganisms and it widely used to disinfect drinking water.
Ultraviolet Light Sterilization effectively disinfects without the use of harsh chemicals.
Ultraviolet light is harmful to skin and eyes. Avoid long term direct exposure when the UVC light is on. Using UVC light requires people, animals and plants to leave the room being sanitized. After UV light disinfection, the room will need to ventilate and air out for at least 40 minutes prior to re-entry.
Expect an odor; smell from ozone disinfection. This is normal and the room sterilized will need to air out and ventilated for at least 40 minutes before re-entering the room.
